I was brought in to the fashion industry by photographer Dan Piersinaru (thanks Dan) and the first project was Kinga’s site
We went through a number of proposals & stuff until we got to this final result
As every fashion designer out there, Kinga wanted a flash site. She didn’t cared about SEO and Google. She wanted a site where she could expose her work in a stylish way and where people can reach her.
So that’s what I gave her.
The problem was that the site needed to be dynamic and maintained regular so I called Cristian Baluta. This was a job for SuperFlashGuru.

E misto ca culori, numai ca sunt 2 probleme acolo, boxul putea fi centrat atat orizontal cat si vertical, la resolutii mari este cocotat prea sus, meniul este cam greu de intuit, ascuns dupa florica, parerea mea este ca userul trebuie informat ca trebuie sa faca hover pe aia ca sa apara meniul cumva. Mai apoi barile alea laterale cu sageti in home page nu au nici un rost, practic dai click pe ele si astepti sa se intample ceva si nu se intampla nimic, produc confuzie…
Stii cum e cu designerii astia vestimentari.. au toti ideile lor… nu poti sa vii tu ... un webdesigner de rand sa le spui cum e mai bine.
Crede-ma ca l-as fi vazut altfel situl asta.. in primul rand NU FLASH :D
Da aici iti dau dreptate, de mutle ori vin cu idei stupide, acum nu stiu daca exista designer vestimentar care sa nu aiba sit in Flash, ce aiurea, doar nu e nimic interactiv, sunt toate o mare galerie foto. Chiar zilele astea ma contraziceam cu un italian referitor la future of the web , era un subiect de genul ca va exista o tehnologie care sa faca tot si aia se presupune ca va fi Flash. Tu ai lucra in Flash? Sa faci situri doar in Flash, nu ma refer la situri de prezentare cum e asta, ma refer la situri dinamice, mai complexe?

The Kingavarga website is nice, I like it.
The rotating flower is nice. Companies that related to arts, like interior designer, furniture manufacturer and fashion designer tends to use Flash for their website.
It is understandable because the primary visitors are not come from search engine, it comes from name cards, brochure, magazines and email.
They need to reflect their taste on arts through their websites, for them Flash is the best, although it is loathed by most if not all SEO guru.
